Producer Jon Landau told his Instagram followers that filming will restart in New Zealand next week for "Avatar 2." After being halted in March because of Covid-19, overseas productions have slowly been re-opening. The plan is for "Avatar 2" to still hit theaters on December 27th, 2021.
