I have to say, I was expecting a bit more from the trailer for Pet Sematary. It really didn't grab me. One problem I'm having is buying John Lithgow as a country bumpkin. What it did do was make me want to watch the original.
The trailer does successfully establish an eerie atmosphere. However, the kids with animal masks on seems to be reaching desperately into Wicker Man territory. I haven't read the book, so if the whole masked funeral procession was in it, forgive me for my ignorance. I really want to like this movie when I see it.
