A great time was had by all. It was a pretty small turnout, but we did what we needed to do and celebrated 50 years of Hammer horror films the right way. There was great movies, a Hammer cake, Black Christmas tree, James O'Barr signing and doing original drawings, a great blowout sale at Lone Star and much more. The most important thing is that we collected some canned goods for Mission Arlington at this holiday season. Check out the pictures below.
We just wanted to say thanks to all the sponsors, volunteers, blood donors, attendees, and anyone and everyone who helped out with The Monster Mash - Universal Monster Fest DFW. The weather was excellent and not too hot or cold. Sorry we've been a little late with thanks and such, but it has been an extremely hectic week, with Halloween and several other things happening. There was over 160 lbs. of canned goods collected for the Grand Prairie Food & Clothing C0-0p. There were 27 people who gave blood for Dracula's Blood Drive. Carter Blood Care said that's over double what is given at most blood drives they're involved with. It was a great time and we'll be posting more pictures right here very soon.
We Just wanted to say thanks to all who helped and took an active role in making the Star Wars 30th Anniversary Celebration - DFW. Some people I would like to thank by name would be FUMCGP, Grace Point, Ken Murray, Greg Judy, Sequel Designs, A Piece Of The Action Collectibles, Vadercast, Sci-Fi Collector, Craig's Toys, Excelsior Comics & Collectibles, Lone Star Comics, and all the volunteers who set up and cleaned up. Everything went great and we had around 200 people throughout the whole night. We've been told by a few people that the event was very successful for being our first one.
